1889-CC 1 Dollar. VF. Among the most sought-after dates in the entire Morgan dollar series, with examples at all grades being constantly demanded. The present, a mid-tier example, has seen years of circulation, but the detail has only experienced moderate softening, with soft gray color on the highpoints now pleasingly contrasting darker gray fields. Atypical of the grade, few marks interfere with the surfaces, leaving a smooth attractive appearance. A few very minor edge dings are noted, but do little to detract and are only mentioned for accuracy´s sake.
