Pullman Co (IL), 100 shs, 1905, Signed by Robert T. Lincoln as president. portrait of George M. Pullman, bottom center, ABN, punch cancels, VF. Robert Todd Lincoln (1843-1926) was the only surviving son of Abraham Lincoln; he served on Grant´s staff at the end of the Civil War and accepted a post from Garfield as his Secretary of War. After the war, he practiced law and served as legal counsel to the Pullman Company. When George Mortimer Pullman died, Lincoln became president and held the position until 1912, when he assumed the less strenuous position of chairman of the board.
