1874 (5 Oct.) envelope (complete with letter) from Sir Moses Montefiore, Bart., at Ramsgate to "Jerusalem Holy Land", bearing 6d. grey Plate 13 cancelled with "6342 duplex and showing circular-framed "PD" in red alongside, Vienna and Jerusalem Austrian Post Office c.d.s. on reverse; the letter written in Hebrew and with printed sender's title in blue and personal wafer seal in silver, both of which also appear on the reverse of the envelope. The envelope a little soiled though a rare and most unusual destination.
