1906 (29 Sept.) postcards from England "via Brindisi" to a passenger on the "Herzog, German East Africa Steam Ship Co., Naples, Italy", franked at 1d., marked "Unkown" and redirected firstly to Zanzibar and eventually back to the sender in the U.K., showing boxed "Inconnu/Not known" and "Zanzibar", both in red, framed "Undelivered for reason stated/To be returned.....", etc. h.s. in violet and with Naples and three Zanzibar c.d.s., all on face.
