†1886-87 25c. stamp-size printed essay in a design similar to that issued though inscribed "north borneo" at top, in grey-blue on wove paper and affixed to piece (38x49.5mm.); the proof slightly soiled and with reduced pencil cross which has slightly damaged the paper surface in places, nevertheless still of fine appearance.
