†1883 (July) De La Rue Proposed Scheme of Colours Appendix piece of wove paper (83x270mm.) bearing a column of perf. 12 colour trials in the issued values and colours of the 1/2d. and 1d. bracketd as "Propsed colours, being those established by the International Postal Convention for these two duties" 2d. brown-purple, 3d. grey, 4d. orange-brown, 6d. dull purple and 1/- yellow-brown bracketed as "Proposed colours" and 21/2d. marked "21/2d. Proposed colour, being established by the International Postal Convention for this value"; horizontal creases, two of which cross proofs. A very rare showpiece.
