†General Post Stamps "paid/at/ireland isle, bermuda" Crowned Circle — P2 1860 (26 Mar.) pink envelope (complete with Offcer's letter headed "Somers Isles") ex the Oldfield correspondence to London, showing a superb strike at lower left and with h.s. "6d" above and, on reverse, an equally superb strike of the PM5 c.d.s. and two London arrival c.d.s.; the contents refer to life in the islands and visits to the theatre. Rare and most attractive.
