†Covers and Cancellations 1872 (21 Dec.) envelope (220x94mm., vertical crease well clear of adhesives) ex the Gray correspondence "Via New York" to london, bearing 1865 6d. dull purple strips of three (2, one with a few perf. faults and small stain in one corner) and a single all very lightly cancelled "2" (K1) and with fine Hamilton c.d.s.
