†Datestamps "hamilton/bermuda" c.d.s. — PM4 This datestamp was appplied in black from 1841 to mid 1849 and in red from 1849 to 1867 1865 (9 Dec.) "Consignee" entire letter from New York per "Harnintha" to Bermuda showing, on reverse, a superb strike in black, being one of only six recorded examples used as datestamps after 25 September 1865.
