1855 (1 Feb.) entire letter from Akyab "Per Overland Mail via Trieste" to London, bearing 1854 2nd. Printing 4a. blue and red (2, both cut-to-shape) cancelled with diamond of dots and showing framed "india paid" in red alongside, the reverse with Calcutta firms oval cachet, Calcutta and London c.d.s.; the entire letter a little soiled and with small tears at top and foot, nevertheless a very rare early stamped cover from Akyab.
