1927-29 High Values Essay Die proof of unknown value in black on glazed card (92x60mm.), all lettering and value tablets hand painted for a 20r. value but differing from the issued design in that the side panels have "twenty/rupees" instead of "postage/revenue", and the small white oval ornaments at the foot have been blocked out and have the letters "p" and "r" superimposed in white; the card marked "before striking" (deleted), "Duplicate" and dated three times between 1920 and 1927.
