A most unusual and attractive frame containing photographs of John R. Lind, a teller at the Bank of Scotland, his mother and father, a certificate issued to John P. Lind by the faculty of Actuaries in Scotland, a cheque payable to Robert Lind and signed by John Lind, a piece of the cross from the top of Ben Nevis (cut by John Lind) and a Bank of Scotland £1, 2 January 1868, serial number R 57/336, black and white with value in red underprint at centre, arms at left, arms top centre, two manuscript signatures below including John P. Lind as Teller (Douglas 65), the whole in excellent condition, the £1 slight damage at centre but of overall a very pleasing appearance, good very fine and extremely rare Estimate £ 1,400-1,800
