†1847-54 EMBOSSED 10d. brown, small to very large margins, on neat entire addressed to Penrith, tied by good strike of the black "606" numeral of Penrith, address panel with fine blue "penrith" double-arc datestamp of 7 Jan 1852 alongside adhesive, inscribed "registered"; light crease crosses adhesive but barely detracts from the wonderful appearance.
