POSTAL HISTORY England, Scotland and Wales 1839 (18 Nov.) entire from Limerick to London, the address panel rated "4/-" initially (crossed through), then inscribed "Only double, P Randoll" and re-rated "2/8", very fine strike of the extremely rare red oval "rebate/(crown)/20 NO 20/1838/l.s.b.o." struck over the top of the "4/-" rate; a fine, clean uncreased cover.
