Unplated CJ, on entire letter, dated 10 May 1842 from Kenmare to Cork, re-addressed upon arrival to Kanturk and affixed with another 1d., AA, over the other adhesive, both with margins all round and strikes of the black Maltese Cross and showing framed "No.2" alongside, the reverse showing Kenmare, Killarney, Cork and Buttevant double-arc datestamps; a little soiled but in no way detracting from this most unusual usage.
