POSTAL HISTORY England, Scotland and Wales 1581 (18 Oct.) entire letter addressed to the Right Worshipful Peers Edgecombe from Henry Chynerton, the content relating to "Land at Trefrew", the address without any town given as the destination indicating that the letter was conveyed by a special messenger hired privately by the sender; light fold and some light wrinkling but in no way detracting from this fine, clean early letter.
