Edward IV, first reign, light coinage, Groat, type VII, Bristol, quatrefoils at neck, fleurs on cusps, b on breast, rev. villa bristow, o/t (or l) in tow, saltire stops, m.m. crown (B & W VII(a); N.1580; S.2004), small striking crack at 7 o'clock, very fine Estimate £ 70-80 The B on breast appears to be over an E (B & W var.3). An obverse die duplicate in the Lockett collection, lot 3145, is struck from a different reverse die having the identical error O/T in BRISTOW
