Victoria, Bronze Pennies, 1888 (2), laureate and draped bust facing left, hair tied in bun, with close thicker ties, no curls at nape of neck, nose more hooked, wreath of 15 leaves, leaf veins raised, 4 berries, no signature, toothed border and thin linear circle both sides, weak on obverse, both with broken upper left serifs on I's in victoria, larger lettering victoria d:g: britt: reg: f: d: rev.larger Britannia seated right on rocks with shield and thinner trident, shield heraldically coloured with different thickness crosses, date below in exergue, thinner lighthouse to left, ship sailing to right, sea meets linear circle, one penny (Fr. 126 R5, dies 12+N; Peck 1740; Gouby A; S.3954), first with a few trifling marks, otherwise full lustre, uncirculated, second toned, almost very fine and scarce Estimate £ 60-100
