Victoria, Bronze Penny, 1883, laureate and draped bust facing left, hair tied in bun, with close thicker ties, nose more hooked, wreath of 15 leaves, leaf veins raised, 4 berries, no signature, toothed border and thin linear circle both sides, weak on obverse, victoria d:g: britt: reg: f: d:rev. larger Britannia seated right on rocks with shield and thinner trident, shield heraldically coloured with different thickness crosses, date below in exergue, thinner lighthouse to left, ship sailing to right, sea meets linear circle, one penny (Fr. 116 R6, dies 11+N; Peck 1730; Gouby A; S.3954), unevenly tone with a little lustre on reverse, other light surface marks, extremely fine, reverse better and scarce Estimate £ 60-100
