Plate 5: A small group of usages with KL, mixed margins on 1841 (15 Jan.) wrapper from India to London "pr Overland Mail via Suez and Marseilles and rated at "2/8d." with boxed "india" and Calcutta Steam Letter handstamp on the flap. Redirected on arrival with the 1d. tied by a good strike of the Maltese Cross in black; NE-NF horizontal pair (small to large margins) on 1841 (24 May) tied by black Maltese Cross on entire to Leamington with boxed "T.P./Kayes K" alongside; PC touching at right, other margins good to large, tied by a double strike of black Maltese Cross on O.H.M.S. War Office letter to Lieut. Hon. J. Colborne, apparently in London, and redirected to Yealmpton, Devon, showing an array of postmarks with "T.P./Charles St. West" in blue, Uniform Penny Post handstruck "1" in black (Walworth); and QG, large margins tied by black Maltese Cross to 1d. pink envelope (Size B) to Coggeshall, Essex, envelope with "T.P/East Tooting". A good group.
