1915 (March 20). Registered cover to Como, Italy, bearing 1915 5pa. on 2q., 10pa. on 5q., 20pa. on 10q., 1gr. on 25q. and 2gr. on 50q., all with red overprint, tied by Scutari c.d.s.'s, sent the day after the official issue of these stamps; backstamped on receipt. Additionally, two pieces, one showing a 20pa. on 10q. used on the first day of issue, the other with 5pa. on 2q. (double overprint variety, featuring a shifted “5 PARA” overprint and a black overprint for the “19 March” commemorative inscription). Michel 1a, 1b, 2-5; €730 (off cover).

provenance: Kol Gjinaj (Nephew of Prince Bibë Dodë Pasha, who was at the time Chairman of the City Administrative Council that approved Sadik Tirana’s proposal, the director of the Post Office of Shkodër, to issue this stamp series) .
