1913 (Oct. 14). Third Issue 20pa. rose stationery postcard with inverted overprint, sent from Vlora to Boston, United States, addressed to Paskal Aleksi (1885 - 1966) who was among the founders of the "Vatra" federation in the United States, journalist and Albanian patriot, who immigrated to the United States in 1904 and became involved in the patriotic movement. Showing “Postat e Qeverrisë së Përkohshme të Shqipeniës” control mark in centre and cancelled by purple "Vlonë" c.d.s. on departure. An extremely rare inverted overprint and additionally addressed to a significant patriot in the history of Albania.

note: The Vatra federation of Pan-Albania was a key force in Albanian diplomacy and national mobilization from exile, particularly during the critical years 1912-1920. It played a crucial role by lobbying internationally, funding national efforts, and acting as an informal diplomatic representative of Albania during its most fragile early years.
