1913 (Dec. 6). Registered mourning envelope from Tirana addressed to Amelia Baroness von Godin (a German researcher, writer, and cultural activist connected with Albania, closely linked to figures and events of 1912–14), delivered via the Austrian Consulate in Durres, franked by 1913 1pi. ultramarine, single and strip of three, lightly tied by violet c.d.s.'s on dispatch. A couple of archive folds do not affect the franking and the overall appearance. To our knowledge, a unique franking, including a very rare used multiple, paying the triple registered rate and on non-philatelically inspired mail. Michel 7.
