1860 (May 8). Cover from Vlorë (Valona) to Vienna via Trieste, postmarked with "valona" second-type c.d.s. and “franco” straight-line h.s., confirming full prepayment at dispatch of the red “10” kr. tariff in red crayon for inland transport within the Austrian Empire. A very fine example from this post office, which was used more rarely than those of Durazzo and Antivari, as it was not well connected.
