1869 (Sept. 9). Entire letter from Preveza (then in the Vilayet of Janina in Ottoman Albania, now in Greece) to Kerkyra (Corfu, Greece), franked with 1867 10s. blue, tied by "prevesa" second-type c.d.s., with alongside "P.P." marking on departure, taxed on delivery with "20" blue crayon paid with Greece 20l. (the due tariff was 20 soldi for the foreign destination). A very fine example of this combination cover, with fewer than ten known, and this displaying clean and very good strikes. Signed Holcombe.
