1859. Entire letter from a Greek trader from Shkodër (Ishkoder) to Monastir (Bitola, Rumelia), showing the Arabic negative "An-Canib Posta-i Iskodra 265” (“on behalf of Shkodër Post Office in the year 1265 of the hérgire") handstamp (Coles & Walker, fig. 1). A very fine example.
