1911 (29 Sept.) envelope registered to Shanghai, showing a fine strike of Lhasa type C4 datestamp (the Chinese adhesives have been torn off) with the boxed registered handstamp (CR3) alongside, the reverse bearing India K.E.VII ½a. and 4a. tied by "yatung - tibet/via siliguri" c.d.s. (20.11), Yatung Dollar dater (C3) with pale blue on white registration label bearing type YB handstamp and tied by Shanghai registered oval (220.12). With the original letter written on several sheets of illustrated paper. A desirable cover despite the missing adhesives. Photo
