1847 three entires from the Andrew correspondence to Salem, U.S.A. with (22 Oct.) sent "Per 'Brighton'" bearing handstruck "ship" and Boston MS c.d.s. (5.7) in red; (3 Nov.) cover sent "per 'Hibernia'" with large rate mark, London Paid c.d.s. (28.1), New York 7c. c.d.s. (17.2) and, on the reverse, large oval "forwarded by/fletcher alexander & co./London" in black; (17 Oct.) entire carried privately, without any postal markings; usual filing creases. Also 1835 (30 Sept.) entire to Mrs Waters in Salem "pr Brookliners Via New York" rated "24" with unframed "ship" and New York c.d.s. (12.3). (4 covers)
