1854 (27 Sept.) entire missionary letter to Abbot Jammes in Paris, datelined "Des Trois Tours en Mongolie le 27 Sept. 1854" from the Superintendent of Missions in Mongolia, the letter refers to the number of baptisms in Mongolia which were considerably less than the provinces in China due to the smaller population in Mongolia. Arrival notation is dated 11th April 1855. Fine and rare, it is thought that only three missionary letters are dated 1854. Photo
