1942 (1 Apr.) stampless envelope Kulim to Kuala Ketil showing, on reverse, despatch c.d.s. (Type D6), Alor Star transit d.s. (2.4) and "post office/k. ketil" arrival h.s. with manuscript date "4.4.2602" below (earliest recorded date), the envelope then re-used back to Kulim showing a very fine strike of the Kuala Ketil h.s. with manuscript date "21.4.02" below and, on reverse, Alor Star transit (22.4) and arrival (23.4) datestamps, the envelope with Censor label at right tied by three strikes of Japanese censor cachet in black, red and purple. The only known example and most intriguing cover showing a double use of the rare handstamp. Photo
