China 1856-60, 1 clasp, Canton 1857 (Geo. Bariskil, 59th Regt.), suspension re-affixed, nearly very fine

George Bariskil was born in 1835 and a native of Tandevagee, County Armagh. He was a weaver by trade upon joining the 59th Regiment of Foot at Portadown in November 1854. Having served with his unit in China, he was finally released in October 1875.
