Honourable East India Company Medal for Seringapatam 1799, silver, 48mm, fitted with an attractive claw and straight-bar suspension (Colonel Galbraith Hamilton Seringapatam), engraved naming, some edge bruises and light contact marks, otherwise very fine

Sold with a further hand-written note:

'Medal for Seringapatam dated 4th July 1799 belonging to Captain afterwards Coll. Galbraith Hamilton, brother of Anna, Wife of Sir John James Burgoyne.'
