(x) Commercial Bank of Scotland Limited, printer's archival specimen £20, Edinburgh, 2nd January 1918, serial number run 11/A 120/1 to 11/A 150/200, printed signature of L. M. MacKay at lower left, blue on yellow and pale blue underprint, depictions of the bank's principal offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, sculptured frieze at lower centre, reverse bank emblem set in ornate guilloches, perforated 'CANCELLED'. This note has been sold through Spink's auctions in the past, and before that, the note was in the archives of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland
