These notes were bought at the Charity Auction of Scottish Banknotes at Spink in 2017 (Sale 17042, Lot 4084) and at the Charity Auction of Scottish £20 at Spink in 2020 (Sale 20028, Lot 127). Back to market for the first time since their original purchase, these notes have one of the lowest serial numbers available and have been brought together in a lot to create a partial set,
