(x) George II (1727-1760), 'Roses' Crown, 1741 DECIMO QVARTO, larger obverse lettering, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses in angles, eight strings to harp, seven hearts in shield, edge large lettered downwards, 29.96g, 5h (ESC 123; Bull 1666; S.3687), cleaned, heavy damage and pitting to reverse, possibly from sea water or fire, about fine; 'LIMA' Halfcrown, 1745 DECIMO NONO, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, LIMA below, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, eight strings to harp, seven hearts, edge lettered upwards, 15.02g, 6h (ESC 605; Bull 1687; S.3695), some rub and contact marks, with a hint of verdigris and toning, about very fine (2)
