Charles II (1660-1685), 'Rose' Crown, 1662, first draped and laureate bust right, rose below bust, stop above, rev. stop after HIB, crowned shields cruciform, ten strings to harp, undated and downwards lettered edge, letters widely spaced, 29.41g [453.87grns], 6h (ESC 15; Bull 339 but with stop after HIB; S.3350), some haymarking, softness to the hair, otherwise with a pleasing old cabinet tone and lustre to reverse, very fine
