Charles I (1625-1649), Group C, Type 2b, 'Fine Work' Shilling, 1631-1632, Tower (under King), Tower (under King), third crowned bust left, in ruff, visible armour and mantle, value behind, rev. oval garnished shield with plume above dividing C-R, 5.96g [91.98grns], 12h, m.m. rose [over plume]/rose (Brooker 465-6; North 2222; S.2788), slightly doubled portrait striking, otherwise pleasingly toned, very fine and an interesting mintmark overstrike
