NGC AU55 | Charles I (1625-1649), Group 5, Type 5 Halfcrown, 1645-1646, Tower (under Parliament), fifth horseman left, cloak flying from shoulder, rev. oval garnished shield, 3h, m.m. sun (Brooker 377; North 2215; S.2780), some flan stress, with a pleasing lustrous tone, very fine, in NGC holder, misidentified as S.2778 and therefore not a true Top Pop, graded AU55 (Cert. #1526207-007)
