Charles I (1625-1649), Group 2, Type 2a, Halfcrown, 1630-1631, Tower (under King), second horseman left, horse caparisoned with plume on head, cross on housings, no groundline, rev. oval shield dividing CR above, 14.98g [231.18grns], 9h, m.m. plume (Bull 104a/15; Brooker -; North 2205; S.2769), mostly soft of strike and some doubling to reverse, cabinet toned and a most pleasing strike to obverse mint mark, fine, better in parts
