ME STANTE TRIUMPHANT, radiant sun over the burning fortress of Ofen, three line inscription in exergue, 67.22g, 59mm (Menestrier, Histoire de règne, pl. 23, CXXVII), pitted, more heavily to the reverse, fair to fine, yet extremely rare; Germany, Hamburg, AR 'To the love of children' Medallet, undated [c. 1700's], by Christian Wermuth, tree in planter marked HPG, smaller tree either side, legend around and in exergue, rev. Jehovah radiates above a heart containing legend in 8 lines, further legend in two lines around, 7.13g, 27mm (Wohlfart 55.066; Goppel 1150), richly toned and with lustre, about extremely fine (2)
