Henry VII (1485-1509), Facing Bust Issue, Groat, Type IIIc, 1495-1598, London, crowned facing bust, one jewelled, one plain arch rev. CIVITAS LONDON, long cross and trio of pellets in angles, 3.02g [46.61grns], 10h, m.m pansy (North 1705c; S.2199), slightly uneven edges, wear to the higher devices, but a bold strike, pleasingly toned, very fine; also Henry VIII (1509-1547), Second Coinage, Groat, 1526-1544, Tower, crowned and draped Laker bust D right, rev. shield over long cross fourchée, 2.67g [41.20grns], 10h, m.m. lis (North 1797; S.2337E), flan split at 2 o'clock, some areas of more significant wear, however details remain largely defined, overall a good fine (2)
