Henry VI, First Reign (1422-1461), Rosette-Mascle / Pinecone-Mascle Issue, Groat, Calais, + HENRIC DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC, crowned facing bust, rev. POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE MEUM (VILLA CALISIE), long cross with trefoils in angles, mm. plain cross, 3.61g, [55.71grns], 9h (North 1446/1461; S.1859/1875), slight unevenness to edges, some small brown and green deposits to both sides, reverse less so, good very fine; also Edward IV, First Reign (1461-1470), Light Coinage, Groat, 1466-1469, London, crowned bust facing, quatrefoils by neck, rev. CIVI TAS LON DON, long cross and trio of pellets in angles, no eye but lis after TAS, m.m. sun, 2.81g [43.36grns], 8h (North 1569; S.2000), a few minor flan splits about the edges, wear to the higher devices, reverse double struck, some verdigris in the recesses, otherwise good fine (2)
