(x) Australian Service Medal 1975, 1 clasp, Kashmir (D.G. Moore. 019990), officially engraved naming, very fine and scarce

Note only 188 Kashmir clasps were awarded to Australian Forces.

Donald Gary Moore was born at Tamworth, New South Wales on 25 October 1943. Enlisting in the Royal Australian Air Force on 23 January 1961 he was sent to the Point Cook academy for pilot training where he passed out as a Flying Officer on 10 December 1964. Posted to the advanced training school at R.A.A.F. Pearce in Western Australia he embarked for Malaysia on 22 January 1967 with 2 Canberra bomber squadron. His career postings included South Vietnam, the Thai/Malay border and Kashmir with 35 and 38 squadron. He retired from the RAAF as Squadron Leader in 1981; sold together with copied research and RAAF wings.
