(x) Army Gold Cross 1806-14, 1 clasp, Vittoria (Lt Colonel Edw. Blakeney L.B. 7th Foot), uniface cast copy; New Zealand Cross 1869, with top riband buckle, copy; Nelson Society Bicentenary of the Battle of Trafalgar Medal, in case of issue, very fine (3)

Field Marshal Sir Edward Blakeney was a British Army officer who served at the Anglo-Russian invasion of Holland in 1799 and commanded the 2nd Battalion of the 7th Regiment of Foot during the Peninsular War before finishing the last twenty years of his career as Commander-in-Chief in Ireland. Upon retirement, he lived at Richmond House in Twickenham.

New Zealand Cross comes in a red leather case with golden edging.
