Bernard Alfred Plumb joined the Metropolitan Police on 14 July 1980 and served initially with 'N' Division based at King's Cross Road Police Station. Transferring to the Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Group on 25 March 1985 SO16, he served with them for some time leaving on 18 July 1994 to join 'J' Division. It was there that Plumb was first commended on 14 September 1997. Transferring for the final time to the Palace of Westminster Security Force SO17 on 3 April 2003, being commended with them on 10 November that same year, he finally retired on 29 October 2012; sold together with copied research, two commendation certificates and several copied Motor Driving School certificates.
