An immediate award for his work with 'C' Squadron, County of London Yeomanry in action at the Pierrepont Orchard.
John Grahame Brice was the elder son of Mr & Mrs Brice of Town House, Ightham, Kent. Having played for the Sevenoaks Rugby XV, he was commissioned Second Lieutenant into the 2nd Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps in October 1942. Having won his M.C., he was wounded in action on 19 August 1944 and returned to the United Kingdom. He married Nanette Thompson of Bessels Green.
Sold together with newspaper clipping to include his image and letter related to this group from RHQ Royal Green Jackets in June 1987.
