Of particular note is his entitlement to the France & Germany Star with clasp 'Atlantic'. He must also have served off the coasts of Burma before thence joining the Pacific Fleet for the final acts of the Second World War, remaining present in the area for the extensive actions to earn his N.G.S. with clasp 'S. E. Asia 1945-46'.
