Arthur Sidney Earl lived at Leytonstone and enlisted at Sun Street. He entered the war in France on 27 January 1917 and served with the 7th London Regiment, he transferred to the 8th Battalion Middlesex Regiment (351612) on 30 January 1918 and died of wounds at the 43rd Casualty Clearing Station on 25 August 1918 and is buried in the St. Hilaire Cemetery Extension, Pas-de-Calais, France.
