Albert Edward Holman entered the war in France on 31 August 1915 as a Corporal with the Royal Sussex Regiment. He was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant on 26 September 1917 with the 3rd Battalion, South Lancashire Regiment and advanced Lieutenant on 26 March 1919. His MIC notes an address in Hounslow however his secondary address is given as Telscombe Training Centre, Sussex; sold together with copied research, a Royal Sussex Cap Badge, Shoulder Title and an identity tag named to the recipient as a Corporal.
