Joseph Trinder enlisted on 11 January 1912 and entered the war in France on 13 August 1914. He was discharged on 22 December 1914 as a result of sickness and is further entitled to a Silver War Badge (82606). His Medal Index Card notes a clasp being issued in February 1939.
